Prov-50 Prepared Media, 1L

The NCMA uses this enriched seawater medium for organisms that grow better with soil water extract and either require or grow better with ammonia.  It has a base of L1 medium.  This medium is similar to other soil water extract media, such as Provasoli's ES medium, Plymouth Laboratory's Erdschreiber medium and Sweeney's General Purpose medium.

Please note: In order to better align with media practices used at the NCMA, PROV50 prepared medium ordered after November 1^st, 2021 will be made with L1 Trace Element Solution. If you would like to have the medium prepared with f/2 Trace Metal Solution for experimental integrity/continuity, please make a note in the Special Instructions comment section of your order.
