L1/25 Medium

This enriched seawater medium is based upon the f/2 medium recipe (Guillard and Ryther 1962) with additional trace metals. It is a good general-purpose marine medium for growing coastal algae as well as ocean phytoplankton. This variation has been diluted /25 for algae sensitive to high nutrient concentrations.
